PM calls a spade a spade

Courtesy:- S Rahman Mian Nawaz Sharif’s address to the nation is that honest leaders and honesty of leadership are the hope of any nation as they find ways and means to address the problems in dead earnest instead of misleading them with fanciful pledges and by drawing false picture. The human history is rather witness to the fact that nations led by honest leaders have met tremendous successes by not only achieving the set goals but also in coping with difficult-most challenges and threats.

Congress, wilting under pressure, is really strange

A party which had remained in control of the world’s biggest democracy for 37 successive years, and is back in the saddle again, would wilt easily before extremists like Shiv Saina, or the BJP, was least expected, and surely does not augur well for  the Indians  themselves.

Courtesy:-  S Rahman Building a heated controversy around the presidential election is an exercise in futility, besides being an unreasonable attempt on the part of intriguers to entangle the nation in unnecessary debates. Already, the nation is fed up with such controversies and debates that are spun with unique, rather odd, interpretations of the prevailing political scenario in the country.

PML-N can’t be party to turmoil

Courtesy:- S Rahman Democracy is not something that should be understood in terms of democratic sloganeering but it is essentially a practical demonstration of democratic deeds the like of which the people have already witnessed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and of late in Azad Jammu and Kashmir with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif firmly supporting the democratic process with practical steps. Just the other day, a move was sponsored by some PPP legislators of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in the form of a no-trust motion against the sitting AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed. Even some homework was done by the movers of this no-trust move to replace Chuadhry Abdul Majeed with a candidate of their own choice namely Barrister Sultan Mahmood (former AJK PM). The number game had also gone into full swing making many people believe that the days of the present AJK government were numbered.
